The newly released smart-bracelet is analyzing wellness data, and becomes a great competitor on the market to the leading Apple Watch.
The new release from Bellabeat, the smart-bracelet Ivy, is designed to monitor its user’s resting heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, body temperature, light, deep, and REM sleep. Furthermore, it can measure sleep timing and quality to provide an overall measure of one’s recovery after a workout. In this way, IVY give signals so one is able to perform the best both mentally, emotionally, and physically.
“Up until now, we’ve had 100 billion health-related data sets in total from our users. With Ivy, this number will increase drastically. The upgraded sensors and improved neural-network capabilities will allow us to better monitor and predict custom variables our users need in order to achieve their wellness goals,” said Melanie Messina, Head of Product at Bellabeat.
With already more than 20.000 units pre-ordered in December, Bellabeat’s Ivy is predicted to be a key player on the market, competing against the current leader with a marketshare of 33,1% of Q3 2020, Apple.
