THANKS TO NORDIC EYE, WE CHANGED OUR BUSINESS MODEL TO BECOME WORLD'S FIRST ROBOT VENTURE FACTORY. NORDIC EYE’S VENTURE KNOWLEDGE ON HOW TO CREATE GROWTH, COMBINED WITH HANDS-ON INVOLVEMENT IN OUR BUSINESS, HELPED US TRANSITION TO A RECURRING REVENUE MODEL, AND WE ARE NOW GROWING EXPONENTIALLY WITH SALES IN OVER 40 COUNTRIES. OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH NORDIC EYE IS THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT HAS TAKEN PLACE AT BLUE OCEAN ROBOTICS.

WORLD'S FIRST ROBOT VENTURE FACTORY.

Blue Ocean Robotics develops the robots from a problem, idea and design to development, commercialization, and all the way to an exit. Each robot is moved into its own subsidiary – venture company, making Blue Ocean Robotics the world’s first Robot Venture Factory.

When we invested in Blue Ocean Robotics, the company had massive knowledge in building functioning robots for a broad range of industrial companies. Nordic Eye helped implement a new strategy "The Robot Venture Factory", transforming the company to build fewer robots, but for themselves, having 4-6 robots in a spin-out cycle, at all times. Nordic Eye spent on average one day per week, helping to execute a very though focusing process, where everything not related to "Mobile Service Robots" was cancelled or paused, resulting in 4 very promising robots. Blue Ocean Robotics was hereafter able to raise new money to a valuation of plus 5x, only 24 months after Nordic Eye entered.
