NORDIC EYE’S EXPANSION AND VISIONS FOR FUND 2
In connection with the record result in 2020 of DKK988 million, Nordic Eye now strengthens the management company with the addition of two new partners. Anders Kaasgaard, a lawyer, with a previous position as a partner at DLA Piper, comes on board as a partner primarily with responsibility for legal and regulatory matters. He will also be registered as a CEO of the management company. Christian Tarp, who is an accomplished investor with more than a decade of experience from firms including Apollo Global Mangement and The Blackstone Group in London, joins the team as a partner and CIO in Nordic Eye, and will also assume responsibility for finance and economics. Both new partners will be part of a senior partner group, consisting of 4 people who, in addition to the two new partners, will be co-founder Michael Tandrup and founder, Peter Warnøe. Together, the 4 partners form the overall management of Nordic Eye.

The aspiration with fund 2 is to raise up to EUR 150 million during 2021, from both institutional and private investors. Just like the first fund in Nordic Eye, which is fully invested, the new fund will invest in promising growth companies within lifestyle and technology.
Anders Kaasgaard comes from a position as a partner at the international Law firm DLA Piper, where he has been for more than 10 years. At DLA Piper, Anders has primarily been engaged in the acquisition and sale of companies, capital market conditions, and venture investments. since February 2020, Anders has also been a lawyer for Nordic Eye.
Christian Tarp joins from a position in ADIA private equity. Prior to this, he was a part of The Blackstone Group’s private equity team in London, and from 2013-2016, he worked with private equity for Apollo Global Mangement. Christian started his career at Moelis & Company in 2009, and has a Master’s degree in Applied Economics and Finance from Copenhagen Business School.
